Full Vehicle Spec
The fourth generation Corvette hit the streets in March 1983 and with the exception of its trusty 5.7-litre engine, was a complete revision from stem to stern.
Dating from January 1996, this late LT4 model automatic C4 convertible looks very Miami Vice and was purchased by our vendor while working in Seattle in 2007. When he returned to the UK in December 2015, he brought it home with him and the love affair continued.
It is understood to have had just one previous owner in the States, a chap who owned a race team, our vendor spotting it outside a race team office; it simply had to be his. He has since fitted an expensive set of 19inch HRE split rim alloy wheels which really set the car off (the original polished alloy wheels come with the car) and a cool air-intake box designed to improve breathing along with a Flow-Master exhaust system which sounds lovely.
The car shows just 47,000 miles, our vendor covering the majority of these in the States during the summers with little mileage since in the UK. The history file contains a couple of invoices, the UK V5C, copy U.S Title, U.S emissions test sheets and the current MOT running until June 2020 with no advisories recorded.
The car is a real head-turner and with ‘Vette prices on the up, this impressive example represent a prime opportunity for some ‘winds in the hair’ motoring - Kentucky style, while you can still afford it!
